Power Arms in the Playoffs
What unbelievable playoff baseball – too bad it is not the other Chicago team playing! Too be blunt, after seeing all the baseball all summer long, part of me wants to get removed from watching any more, but these guys have been incredible.

Mixed Feelings about '03
Sitting here in Kinston, I am waiting on the start of the Carolina League playoffs. I am scheduled to pitch game one tonight. I feel good physically and a little anxious to get the postseason started.

The Draft? What Draft..
For the first time in my pro career, I have really moved past interest in the draft. Last year at this time, I was interested in whom we were taking, who was going number 1, and whose was getting what money.

Baseball and Beach
I am writing upon return from lovely Myrtle Beach – tough and fun place to play. Tough because the beach and sun sometimes can take you mind off of baseball.

Greeting fans from the Carolina League. As somewhat expected, I am beginning the year in Winston Salem. Part of me had hoped near the end of spring that I might get a chance at the AA Birmingham team, but the organization felt it was best for me and best for them to return to the A level. I guess I will have to pitch well to force their hand sometime in the future.

Greetings from AZ
We are about a week or two away from breaking from camp, and I do look forward to a change of scenery. This spring has been great - -my first taste of major league camp, some good solid work, and escape from Chicago weather.

Repercussions
I thought I would be writing this from Fall Instructional League, but the White Sox decided to cancel the season. I was disappointed in the fact that I was geared up to go to Phoenix, work hard, and continue trying to move up the ladder.

2001 First Rounder Joins ATY
It has been an interesting few months for me, and I am excited to be a part of the ATY crew. I guess I am the youngest of the bunch, so I will do the best job I can. Wow, where to start. It seems as if this draft process begins in June - but probably the June BEFORE you are eligible to be drafted.
