Reflection on 2003
All in all, I am very happy with the way my first full season went. I achieved all the goals that I set for myself at the beginning of the year. One, I finished up in AA, which was what I was hoping for.

Harrisburg down Broadway
Well, I’m on the move again. I got promoted to AA in Harrisburg, PA about a week ago. I have played 7 games so far, and I’m doing pretty well. I’ve got 3 homers and I’m hitting about .300.

Shorter and Quicker
Well after about 3 weeks of being in High A ball, I am finally starting to feel good at the plate. I have still been hitting some balls pretty well, but I just haven’t been feeling it.

Bomb Dropper
One out left, and I need 2 homeruns to win the derby. Well, let’s give it all we got and don’t get cheated. Here comes the pitch… my foot gets down… my hips clear… the bat head flies through the zone as hard as I can possibly swing it without dislocating my top half from my bottom.

Hey now you're an All-Star
It’s June 15, and today we have an off-day, so as you might guess, we are hitting up the golf course later today for a 4 team best-ball scramble.

Streaky
Well, we are in mid May now about a quarter of the way through the season, and we are 16 and 20. I’ve been really streaky as of late, and I’m not really sure why.

Enjoying the Fall
Well, its been a while since my last journal, so I wanted to let everyone know what I have been up to lately. I'm still at Duke, and I'm having the best fall of my life. Since I am free from obligations with the Duke team, I have been able to travel some and do a lot of things that I wasn't able to do in the past.

Back on the DL
Well, I'm on a plane right now going down to Florida for rehab. I got healthy for 2 games, and I pulled my back again. It happened just over a week ago, and it is feeling really good as of late. Yesterday I took some swings and had no pain, so I am confident that I will be healthy soon.
